The final round of judging...

I am absolutely blown away to be into the final round of judging for the prestigious Landscape Photographer of The Year 2020... This competition is the pinnacle of the Landscape Photography world and to even get this far is simply incredible and beyond a dream for me.  Tens of thousands of Landscape Photographers from around the world enter and the standard is extremely high.

The judges are widely respected within the Landscape Photography world so it is an honour to think that I have had an image make it through to the final stage.  I have everything crossed for success but I am grateful to get this far.




 

What is Landscape Photographer of the Year?

It is the calling together of photographers from all over the world, to celebrate their personal wonder and relishing of the landscape, but not just any landscape, the landscape of the United Kingdom.

The landscape of the UK is amazingly diverse and rich with vast, deep expanses to small intimate cameos.

The resulting collection of photographs coming from the craft and expertise of every photographer who participates, will result in a collection of images that will last forever and that will testify to the UK being one of the most beautiful countries in the world in which to make landscape photographs.

Landscape Photographer of the Year was founded in 2006 by Charlie Waite, one of today’s most respected landscape photographers.
