The results are in

Its been a very long wait for the results of the prestigious Landscape Photographer of The Year 2020... This competition is the pinnacle of the UK Landscape Photography world and each year tens of thousands of Landscape Photographers from around the world enter their best images and as a result the standard is unbelievably high.

The judges are widely respected within the Landscape Photography world so it is an honour to even have an image make it through to the final stage but now that the official deadline has passed I am absolutely thrilled to say that one of my images has been judged as runner up in the Your View category.

Since first becoming aware of the LPOTY competition I had dreamt of the possibility of winning this, never really believing that it would even be remotely possible and yes I didn't win but to be judged as runner up in the Your View category is simply amazing.  A place in the superb LPOTY 13 book and a place at the exhibition at London Bridge station from 6th November 2020 until the 12th February 2021.

Huge congratulations to the other award winners !

My image is this one and can be purchased in print on the link: Buy Online

What is Landscape Photographer of the Year?

It is the calling together of photographers from all over the world, to celebrate their personal wonder and relishing of the landscape, but not just any landscape, the landscape of the United Kingdom.

The landscape of the UK is amazingly diverse and rich with vast, deep expanses to small intimate cameos.

The resulting collection of photographs coming from the craft and expertise of every photographer who participates, will result in a collection of images that will last forever and that will testify to the UK being one of the most beautiful countries in the world in which to make landscape photographs.

Landscape Photographer of the Year was founded in 2006 by Charlie Waite, one of today’s most respected landscape photographers.
